Dr Mohammad Ashik obtained his basic medical and postgraduate qualifications from the National University of Singapore and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in UK. He received his fellowship training in sports surgery in Hannover, Germany and Paediatric Orthopaedics in Vienna, Austria.

Dr Ashik's areas of interests are; 

  • Sports injuries in children and adolescents 

  • Arthroscopic (keyhole) surgeries of the hip, knee, ankle, shoulder and elbow 

  • Cartilage repair and preservation surgeries 

  • Patella dislocation and reconstructive surgery

  • Paediatric and adolescent trauma 

  • Lower limb malalignment and deformity correction
